Then what do people mean when they say normal soap and antibacterial soap and how does that affect what I should be using after handling raw meat or just going to the toilets etc?

They should’ve said “all other inhabitants” to remove the ambiguity.
Are you really getting updates though? Samsung latest phones are expected to be getting updates for 7 years but as far as I know the s10 range isn’t officially supported anymore. Samsung don’t need to provide security updates to your phone anymore. I think the last one was Q4 of 2023 and it made the news because it was unexpected.
You could also read it differently nowadays 15 years later with all the emissions scandal. Probably wouldn’t want to trust Volkswagen with such statements huh.
What’s “wrong” in your question is the assumption that a) the only reason religions exist is the lack of knowledge and b) that the knowledge we have answers all the questions that people seek answers to when they turn to religion. I think if you question these assumptions then you’ll easily start to find the answers. Otherwise see all the other comments.
This article really sounds like it describes an alternate reality to me. Interesting to see how many people in the comments seem to hate self checkouts but here in the UK they seem to work fine. Shops seem to have found the right balance. In the same shop you’ll have queues advancing rapidly at self checkouts and people run tills with shorter queues for customers who prefer the human interaction.
Do a lot of people put their voice on the internet “as much as they’re able to”? It sounds like that person may post their voice online more than the average person…
Are people hating twitch for real or is it just for the meme (of better than twitch etc)?
Would be good if they also force companies to support security updates for more that 5 years…
I don’t need to change phone. I like my S10+. It does what I need. But I feel I’ll have to change it soonish if I want to continue using for online banking etc.
Well it depends what user experience and quality you are after. Some of Meta’s Llama 2 models require several GBs of GPU ram to run and be responsive.
But if you buy a newer car you contribute to increasing the demand for new vehicles (indirectly).

I think driving your car to the ground is the most environment friendly approach anyway regardless of the type of car you’ll buy next.
The meme is funny (it is!) until people take it too literally.
Yes there are things in traditional English cuisine that are atrocious (from difficult times for some of them) but I believe what counts as English food is what you can find in England today.
If you want cheap then you have Indian, Chinese etc in addition to the usual fast food places. Fish and chips is good but you have to let go off your prejudices. The fish is super crispy outside and flaky inside but bland. It’s meant to be eaten covered in salt with tartare sauce or your vinegar soaked chips.
True the cheap traditional food can be meh compared to Italy or France. If you want really nice English food you’ll have to pay more. Gastro pubs, genuine fancy “British cuisine” restaurants are everywhere but you need to be ready to pay the price.
In addition many other countries also have soso traditional food (I think NL, DK etc according to their own citizens). But the problem obviously is that the UK are more fun to target, because the UK wants to be perceived as a superpower in other aspects as they once were. So yeah let’s make fun of their food.
I think it does, and it seems to work because of a defrosting feature that earlier models didn’t have. But I wouldn’t say it does so very clearly. Unless I missed it.
The other reason I was initially confused, but reading this thread helped, is that by presence of bones in the cave they don’t just mean that there aren’t any bones lying around, brought in by cavemen or bears dying in the cave. They imply that the cave is basically not accessible normally and what would be found in it (bones, fossils etc), if there was anything, can only come from the time when those mountains were formed. I think… Maybe that was obvious for some people.
The colours are the wrong way around. I’m sure everyone noticed but my point is I think it’s almost never represented the wrong way around in France.
If I remember correctly the point of the show is that they are both dicks. Relatable dicks.
Effectively it’s a more general version of it. Not specific to words and not specific to the why we feel this way. You’re right it’s not the same thing. But I meant that it’s another way to name the effect you’re experiencing.
Thanks!
