Coming soon is the defense that is all Russia is doing in Ukraine.
The poor Russians just weren’t equipped to deal with the consequences of a war they started, just like poor Germany. /s

But also you’d probably react differently if the police showed up to your house because your kid made threats about shooting people. Like you wouldn’t then go buy them a gun for Christmas, regardless of how well you stored it.
Abuse doesn’t really jump out to me, more like denial.
And sadly it’s been this way for decades. Rachel Corrie was run over by a bulldozer in 2003 and nothing changed then, and it won’t change anything now.
This is probably to stop the cut scene in Moonrise where Minthara is completely naked because players tend to just ‘take all’ when looting after knocking her out. Don’t get me wrong, it’s hilarious given the context of the scene but I’m sure the devs didn’t intend that!
Considering he can have sex with all those characters, Jaheira might have been a better choice!
Duke energy in NC has basically already made it to expensive or at least not worth it to install solar. They reset the power credits to generate and you basically still are stuck paying a power bill regardless of what you generate.
I didn’t thinking that idea was still in dispute. There have been multiple studies in this area. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3543069/
It’s because the news media industry as a whole has stuck with Twitter as their primary social media site. It’s kinda hilarious how much they seem to like it and how much time they spend there.
It’s not as common but I’d say you still see kids that grow up in a household with satellite for TV so they miss out on most of the streaming references.
I had an aunt with the Disney channel and HBO that recorded almost everything. It was like a home video store at her house, probably hundreds of tapes that she let friends and family borrow. She have me a spare copy of the Disney animated Robin Hood with all the animals and I must have watched it a hundred times.
I wonder if the DoJ actually does split up Google if separating Chrome would make any difference with behavior like this?
Duh, that’s why I said that in the first sentence, it’s not for everyone.
Not trying to discount anyone’s situation, but if you are in the USA and have the option, move out of the bigger cities and into the countryside. Land is cheap, houses can still be cheap and in some areas there aren’t enough people to live in the houses so they are super cheap. Buy a house with the land, work remotely since high speed Internet is everywhere more or less. I live in a super small town that was crushed by NAFTA and only the local hospital keeps the community alive since it brings in a lot of good jobs.
Just remember the DoD have the troops and get all the budget money, the VA have the veterans that don’t get shit! If the DoD budget didn’t have to go up every year then maybe we could actually have money for other things.
Server side ads sound more expensive for Google to me. I’ll just use some future plugin that blacks out the screen or whatever if it comes to that.
Biden isn’t a boomer, he’s from the generation before, the silent generation.
What is the “younger millennial” part of the comment about? I’m one of the older millennials and feel this way. Heck I know some Gen X guys that grew up playing video games and feel this way.
There is no learning, companies just move to different antivirus. The new hotness, the cycle repeats over and over until the new antivirus does this same shit. Look at McAfee in 2010, in fact the CEO of Crowdstrike was the CTO of McAfee then. That easily took down millions of windows XP machines.
All of the security vendors do it over enough time. McAfee used to be the king of them.

They were searching backpacks and lockers in my high school back in the 90’s, student privacy has been dead for a long time. And at the same time they let students keep rifles in their cars on school grounds during hunting season so those students could hunt before school. There’s no real logic at work, just school boards reacting.
