There are already tax discounts on primary residence, there’s a capital gains exemption. Doesn’t matter because housing prices still go up too much. And why do they keep going up? Hmm… maybe something about a shortage of housing?

Speculators can’t single handedly increase the price because they still need someone to buy or rent the property for a worthwhile price.

Sorry no, landlord still means anyone who rents homes, even a single one. Even a single room or a basement suite. Just ask any renter what they call the person who they pay for the space. They call them the landlord. You’re stuck in a dark bubble.

Everyone is always profiting off the hard work of others, that’s the whole point of civilization. Yes, many landlords are exploitative. But not all, and probably not even most, are.

I bought a new PC recently and put Linux on it. It didn’t work with the on-board Bluetooth until I did some research and digging through the logs and compiled and installed a kernel driver and edited some config files as root.

Also the fps on my Nvidia graphics card is really bad in games.

So it does still have driver issues, I’d say.
