Ich kenne einige der involvierten Leute, weil ich ehrenamtlich Veranstaltungen in Hamburger Klubs mitorganisiere - unteranderem eben auch im Südpol.

Es wäre wirklich ein riesen Verlust, wenn uns das Südpol nicht erhalten bliebe. Es ist eine Institution der Hamburger Technoszene und der Außenbereich sucht mit seinem Flair gerade im Sommer echt seines gleichen. Das Team schüttet da ihr Herzblut rein und opfert sich auf, um das Ganze am Laufen zu halten, aber aus persönlicher Erfahrung kann ich sagen, dass Leidenschaft und Engagement nur eine endliche Menge Geld ersetzen und meistens mit ihren ganz eigenen Kosten einhergehen…

Wirklich traurig, wie selbst etablierte Klubs aktuelll komplett am strugglen sind. Das Hafenklang hat nach einer sehr erfolgreichen Crowdfunding-Aktion auch bekannt gegeben, dass die Finanzspritze zwar bitter nötig war, sie aber die Gesamtsituation nicht weniger ungewiss macht.

Oft wird meiner Meinung nach die Signifikanz der Nachtgastronomie als kulturschaffende Instanz unterschätzt und gerade aktuelle politische Bewegungen machen mir und anderen Beteiligten erhebliche Sorgen für die Zukunft.

Literally anyone I know who ever owned an e-bike has had it stolen. I don’t own a bicycle anymore, since I can’t keep them inside and they keep getting stolen.

Not sure where you live, but in major cities this is a huge issue. Just consider the profit to be made on e-bikes.
