That’s kind of a poor response, no? You’re happy to contribute more written material than Stephen King on a good day but you don’t want to talk about your tendency to pick fights?

I’m just saying this feels like a “who watches the watchmen” type of deal. You’re like the biggest power user on this website and I see you bickering with people in the comments of every post with more than 30 replies.
How is that breaking civility rules but your post right here is fine? https://lemmy.world/comment/10541760
What about people who need money to not only survive but to continue making art? What separates art from, say, coding, as a form of labor that is not worth compensation? Is an artist’s work not worthy of adequate compensation?
This is my opinion about every game that came after Dark Souls 1, although I think the drawbacks are a lot more visible in 2&3 in Elden Ring - as you pointed out about the open world. Finding the shortcuts in the first one (like Darkroot Garden connecting the Parish to the Burg) is a feeling that’s never been replicated for me in the later games.
Lots of beliefs are offensive. For example, Sandy Hook deniers.
If you just read the wiki article you linked as well, there is circumstantial evidence you’re just ignoring.
Well, if you ever do, let me know 😉
There’s another version of Spiders? I was a fanatic for the first book in high school, I had no idea
That’s a super interesting perspective on this stuff. Sorry you’re going through that internet brother - I hope you can communicate to your dad that he’s loved the way he is. Definitely seems to be true
What don’t you like about Ideology, out of curiosity? I can understand Royalty / Biotech, but I love Ideology
He didn’t write the script for The Dark Knight (and it shows) of course I love it lol
He’s only credited with coming up with the story, which is why I said Batman Begins, which he did write according to Wiki
Yeah, that’s a bit of a reach - not like immigrants aren’t brutally exploited on vegetable farms either or anything
Ignoring the jerk to talk shit:
Why do people still like/hire this guy? I’ve never seen something with him I’ve really enjoyed, besides Batman Begins. He’s had a long career since 2005, and been credited on a lot of dogshit.
You’d think his career would’ve ended after he wrote Batman V Superman, but here we are? They gave him a show?
You’re not even wrong on 3/4 but explain to me how going vegan is a stand against discrimination? I stop eating eggs and systemic racism is defeated??
Eli Roth wrote and directed this, so it was never going to be anything but schlock. Looks surprisingly OK in my opinion, honestly. My biggest issue is no Brick - get a Dave Bautista type and the movie instantly gets better. Kevin Hart seems fine as Roland (also surprising!). Cate Blanchett and Jamie Lee look perfect, and like they’re having fun, which is a good sign.
Borderlands was never a high quality story franchise - BL1 had the most generic “go get the treasure” plot with a shit ending, but was saved by the memorable side characters and funny dialogue. Handsome Jack was a good villain, but replay BL2 a few times and you’ll see the holes in the story. Don’t get me started on the third game.
Hoping this isn’t all fart jokes. I think the tone of this trailer combined with some good Eli Roth splatter would actually be an OK flick. If it’s PG-13, it’s over though.
Very exciting. Bummed we have to wait till the end of the year for this
I thought you were exaggerating, but nope. That thread is really hard to read. I guess if you’re the type to run executables off a discord server you’re not the brightest bulb though lol
That’s fucking awesome. Stoked for you!
I’ve enjoyed my experience on here a lot more after blocking them, lol. I felt like I saw a stupid argument on almost every post, and they were either always the culprit, or continued the argument well past the point of good faith.
