The company doesn’t get any benefit at all on its taxes by collecting donations from customers. Those donations belong to the customers, who themselves can claim them on taxes. The company is doing a good thing by encouraging and soliciting charity.

Oh man don’t even get me started on that one too. I knew some people that genuinely thought a bonus would make them earn less overall.

They don’t even report it as income, because it’s not income. It’s your donation, not the company’s donation.

The “kick back” is good PR.

So sick and tired of this myth, how are Americans so goddamn ignorant of their own tax system that this continues to persist.

Corporations are evil for a million and one reasons. This isn’t one of them.

Lol a donation cannot be written off by two entities. Americans would need to itemize their deductions, which very few do.

Obviously subjective, but I was a very big fan of the series for the first several entries, kinda began losing interest around Unity (although in hindsight, Unity is probably one of the best ones in a few ways, but at release it was a very buggy mess).

I am not personally a fan of the way they have ignored the modern day story line after around 3, as I am one of the few on the planet that actually found that part of the narrative compelling and the part I was really playing for.

I don’t like they gameplay changes since Origins, and it has increasingly become more of an action game over time and less of a dope assassin game.

I honestly don’t even see it memed anymore.

I don’t think Gaetz qualifies as a paedophile, at least with what we know. Rapist and child sexual abuser fits though.

I am not qualified to answer those questions, but I know that if you tell emergency services that you think someone is having a stroke that’s one of the times an ambulance is going to be siren on, lights on, speeding through the streets.

I know it’s “just” a comic but I feel obligated to let every reader know that the burnt toast thing is a weird myth.

FAST: Face, Arms, Speech, Time. Check their smile, check if they can hold up both arms, check if they have slurred speech or can speak at all, and call emergency services asap because every second matters. Have them rest peacefully while you wait for help.

There is potentially life saving medication that can even reverse some effects of a stroke, but it is time sensitive.

Throwing and catching always amaze me. And it’s not something that everyone is always great at, for sure, but anyone can try to toss a wad of paper into the waste basket. Whether or not you make it, the calculations under the hood, happening so quickly, always astound me to think about.
