So I’m not from the USA and have heard the argument that she’s suspicious because she’s out of district a couple of times. So why is that bad? (I have no clue about american politics so I hope the question isn’t dumb)

So as a doctor working in an intensive care unit, we even know we’re the baddies sometimes. We’ve had people quit over that. Pretty hard to fight the system and take people off of live support. I’m in Austria and the laws are pretty different here. Best thing we can do if we think a patient isn’t benefiting from more life prolonging interventions is to do an “ethic council”. There a bunch of different doctors who don’t work at the same unit and a lawyer get together and decide what to do. Still we had some people rotting to death in our unit. Also people on life support where we knew we could never get them out of intensive care and just prolonging their suffering. In the end some kind of infection will take them. But we’re just prolonging their suffering and their families suffering who are trusting us. Horrible situation all around. And the thing is we do that because the surgeon in charge doesn’t want them to die because then the surgery will be considered failed In statistics. So we keep them alive for 30 days… I’m still in training so can’t really change the system just make people as comfortable as possible with painmedication and sedation until they’re allowed to die. (Usually after 30 days so the surgery is seen as successful)

Still even to find the strip and transfer the money is amazing to me. Maybe I just have low standards though ;-)

Also amazing that he kept track of his debts over all this years!

Sorry that happened to you! I’ve cut out long term friends because they were toxic. And am so much better without them. Even if it hurts shortly, it will be better for your future. I guess you’ve already done that maybe but don’t lose hope, there are good people out there worth your time :-)

Ok, yeah thanks for the reply! Since I know that I’m a little nervous about it. But guess it’s not uncommon so hope it won’t flare up when I’m somewhere without dental care.

So is yours still in there? Because I was told that just a couple of weeks ago and am scared it’s going to cause problems in the future. (Am in Austria with general health care though)

Usually it’s not part of the date conversation for me because it doesn’t matter if you date an average heigth guy. if a guy is really fucking tall and I’m genuinely interested about how tall he is I have asked, nobody ever minded. I think this whole height fetish is a little bit out if control because of dating apps maybe. Because I’ve met all of my boyfriend live and then you can see about what height they have. And I’ve never minded if somebody is small or tall.

As a woman I have friend’s I just talk to whenever I want, like once or twice per year and never had a problem with them. Athough there were friends I lost because we didn’t have enough contact and they didn’t like that. Looks like it depends on the person and not the gender. Who would have thought that ;-)

So I’m scared of spiders, but if they’re chill I’m chill too. So I just let them be and they usually leave me alone. And I hate it when somebody kills a spider, just want somebody else to take the big ones outside for me :-)

In Austria they started selling in all big shops maybe like two years ago. At least that’s when I realized them. I love the chocolate and worth the price for me :-)
