Sehe nach dieser Definition keinen Grund, warum die CDU keine “Union” sein soll. Das Wort könnte sich jede Partei auf die Fahnen schreiben, und die CDU ist auch nicht für besonders starke interne Richtungskämpfe oder Abspaltungs- oder Ausschlussbemühungen bekannt.

Kind of a distinction without a difference, someone who has an issue with wine from illegal settlements probably doesn’t want Israeli wine in the first place. Though I do understand the political weight of treating the occupied territories as regular Israeli territories.
