I mean, that’s just something that happens in every major metropolitan city worldwide, no doubt. Comes with the territory. I love my city, but man… you see some shit (literally)

Yo I live in Chicago too!
“Hannibal” x "TMNT Shredder’s Revenge* Mads Mikkelson’s Hannibal has some killer (literally) hand to hand, but he doesn’t want any of the smoke from my turtle bros
Came in here to rep for Merrel. Granted, I’ve only had them for about a year, but the Moab Mid 3 hiking boot is one of the best investments of my life. I needed to buy a pair of insoles for arch support, but after that it’s been like walking on clouds. I ride my bike to work and they’ve held up through snow and torrential downpour. Can’t recommend them highly enough
The amount of money I wasted using printer ink for “educational jpgs” when I had the house to myself… I’m so sorry, my parents (90’s dinosaur)
My only background is in Hell/customer service. Like most of us, Reddit was home for so long. I wouldn’t call myself super tech-savvy, but I fucked around with the Fediverse, figured it out and am happy to not create content for that shitbird Spez. Thanks for listening
Wasn’t he the villain in “Desperation” too? From what I vaguely remember, more pronounced in my mind with the body-horror possession shit. Tak is probably meant to be some kinda Pennywise/Flagg offshoot (lost idea) or something
Yeah, “Regulators” is an odd ass example. The other book that King released at the same time under his actual name (“Desperation”) was way more memorable drawing from my adolescent mind. Having read both at the time of around their respective release, I don’t remember much about Regulators other than it takes place in a suburb and Desperation is so vastly superior a read/100 and it’s not even close. So yeah, deep dive from OP I guess
Adding to that; doesn’t “Children…” take place in like Iowa or something? I can’t think of a King book that takes place specifically in Ohio, but I also haven’t really read his stuff the past decade
Nope. Having finally hammered down the local vernacular (“instances”/“communities”) of Lemmy, I am so at home here. I miss RiF, but Liftoff is serving me well
