I’ve been a cashier for ages and a question that often pops up for customers on the payment terminal is “would you like to donate to X charity”. How often people ask me what they should press, yes or no… I look at them ask them if they would like to donate to X charity and it’s like a light goes on for them and they suddenly understand.
I have a coworker who is here with me today ay my job. he’s horribly sick and lost his sense of taste but still insists on working and the managers let him. so I’ll probably have covid next week.
my husband says hard -g, I say jif. it’s a point of contention.
I think the problem is that a lot of the time (at least I’m America, that’s where I live), is that people don’t actually utilize their pickup trucks and they just end up being shiny pavement princesses.
I’m new to Lemmy and I am using Sync for Lemmy but so far none of my comments are showing up. I’m attempting to comment from my browser this time and I hope it works.
Edit: my comments seem to be showing in browser but not via Sync for Lemmy. Can someone recommend different Lemmy app?
Edit: you guys are great, I uninstalled and restarted and now my comments are showing up along with all your replies that just popped up at once!
