Yes, I’m sure he meant an economic bloodbath. 🙄

Seconded, I first heard about this game from his channel.
Didn’t 3DO have deformable terrain, too? Whatever technology enabled that, it was a long time before I saw another console capable of it.
GoG Galaxy is pretty decent for that
The hate comes from gated software exclusives and a dogshit service platform. Does China have something to do with Epic? Whatever it is, they’re not making Epic any better.
Which is as it should be, right?
Big Hanlon fan, but I don’t think stupidity is enough to explain why the site behaves that way.
Finally, change I can believe in
Somebody leaked his plans to put up hotels and pickle ball courts, etc. in state parks and people took that personally, especially because they were no-bid contracts. Basically everyone told DeSantis to fuck off with this plan, which he tried to distance himself from while simultaneously firing the whistleblower.
Nah, it’s a lunch/deli situation, where you can order a sandwich or get a salad, so they also have soda fountains like this.
Fuckin… Goddamnit. Thanks for letting me know.
That was good, thanks. Dude was like, “Why did you make me read your comment!?” Lol
I should have known going into it, but Sam Rami made Multiverse of Madness into his own weird thing that was tonally just not what I wanted, which was a bummer.
A human being should be able to change a diaper, plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship, design a building, write a sonnet, balance accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem, pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly. Specialization is for insects.
Robert A. Heinlein
That’s quite the list. I think the conversation is more nuanced, especially since the quote seems so anti-specialization, but in general I think it’s correct. Even so, none of these things are really specializations/ exclusive of each other.
It’s still fun, though. I think it has a cohesive look that I would call “visually distinct for gaming purposes” rather than specifically beautiful.
Not my favorite mechanics of all time, but I generally liked the way it was presented, and it plays pretty snappily when everything’s automated like in the game. What aspects don’t you like about 5e? Do you think some tweaks would be enough for you to like or tolerate it?
Kojima does it again, what a legend
Definitely a pitch, but intriguing nonetheless. There are so many ways that could be interpreted, but I like the character enough to be interested.
How do you see this change impacting the overall experience? When you say that the single player mentality is ruining MMOs, what features or gameplay decisions are you picturing?
