The “20 years later” next to it is perfect
Buddy. I said “some people”. If you want to start calling names, and you’re talking about reddit, at least don’t be a hypocrite with your “i talk for everybody” mentality. Do you know what “some” means?
Anyways, you talked bout your phone and gave your perspective, I talked about mine and gave mine. The only valid point you have is that it should be compared to others in the same segment, which I did. Because I didn’t mention my own phone in my original reply. I just replied to your personal experience and I gave mine about how some people do not want that and want good battery life, with a personal example.
If you’re talking about comparing it to others in the segment, I think you’re either reading biased sources or are just lying about it. https://www.tomsguide.com/news/google-pixel-8-battery-life “they didn’t quite live up to the standard set by phones in their price range” Literally one of the first results for “google pixel battery”
Now please, there are other people that want other things in the world. No need to be an asshole about it.
You can disagree all you want. I am not here to discuss it. You asked why and I explained why.
No need to argue with people that don’t fall within your own demographic.
C isn’t too hard if you learn about how memory and pointers work, which seems to be something Rust tries to get away from. So I’m not sure it would make you a better C programmer.
I only have something against the syntax, but nothing against anything else about it, nor is my comment meant as a negative against the language. What I referred to was simply about how that stupid sentence is not a good comment and completely personal opinion. I am sure a lot of programming languages would have gotten the same label at one point in time. And many times they have been superseded by the next big thing.
For “some people” it is a big selling point. Which was how I worded my post.
I think only their way of emulating play store apps is heavy on the battery. But I could be mistaken.
I have an Oukitel and it uses 10% per day with medium usage. GPS and some video calling uses 20% on a day. Before that I used another Oukitel that only had a 720p screen. I could go for 20+ days on a single charge with not much usage.
These 1 charge per day devices are horrendous.
It’s ok if you don’t travel a lot, or always go home. But I tend to travel and be gone for the weekends.
I think you’re correct except for “having Rust in the Kernel is a bet on the future”. That’s something the techbro’s would say.
Me looking at the thumbnail of this post: “ah electabuzz or something right?”
People in this thread: “it’s totally different!!!”
Most important thing for some people: the battery of the pixel sucks balls
I think that the commenter lives in a country with for-profit hospitals. In Europe hospitals get subsidized so they all make good money and aren’t driven to pursue profits. Prices are being kept low because of taxes and social health care. There are some for profit hospitals, but not many.
What point are you trying to make?
Or are you just adding a random fact to the thread?
I was thinking the exact same thing. It just feels like 2 extremes. Take the left one, don’t put concrete everywhere, and add 80% of the trees from the right.
I wish I could do the same with veganism :) Spreading love and equality.
But I just get an army of haters.
Well yeah my comment was sarcasm.
I’m sure they are up for that to prove their innocence!
Only if I can use AI and cameras to follow police around, map them, and use pattern recognition to make sure they behave as well.
I’ve been in a similar situation where some agents from the anti terrorism brigade came to my door. Sometimes you just have to shut up and work with them how they see fit.
Nobody was body-slammed, nobody was disrespected, nobody was being held longer than necessary or with excessive force.
This isn’t a situation to turn into hate towards the police. Just get over it and don’t be a fucking asshole.
Sure buddy. You’re a new type of mentally deranged. Damn.
