Looking like Mass Effect is not a bad thing. ME rules. If the gameplay is just as fun and characters/story just as interesting, then I’m absolutely down. That said, the NPCs are giving me cliche, overly-talkative, super annoying vibes. Hopefully that’s just from the editing. After the utter failure of Starfield, a solid sci-fi RPG would be very welcome, even if it’s a little derivative or overly reminiscent of its predecessors.

Maybe I’m not understanding the meme here, but I thought Elrond was a full elf because he chose to be when offered the choice (by Eru, maybe?). And his brother chose to be human.

That’s a good point. I guess that was pretty American of me to dismiss this entirely because of what’s going on here.

I would love for this to happen, but it just seems to be another reason why Trump wants tariffs on foreign EVs–both Elon and the oil/car execs don’t want clean, affordable vehicles! They only want us buying gas-guzzling tanks or deregulated, overpriced Teslas.

Truth!

The only focused Democratic message for the past 8+ years has been, “We need to stop Trump,” which I agree with, but without Trump, I can’t think of a single, unified message. That’s not enough to get the general population fired up and excited to vote for Dems. One thing that made Obama so popular was he had specific goals and gave people hope.

Trump, in the meantime, has been feeding people all sorts of promises and hopes and dreams. They’re all terrible and full of shit, but that is a more powerful message than just, “We need to stop Harris.”

Watching some old MGS3 cutscenes, I can hear it. There’s no way I would’ve guessed it without knowing, but you can hear a little of Ariel in EVA’S voice.
