The US justice system and Congress have established that there is one person completely above the law, and that mega-corporations only have to lobby that one person to get what they want. It has made lobbying more efficient for them than ever before.

The deep state does exist. All public news is just a facade done to appease or distract the public. If you dig in, you will find eerie timings and coincidences of government actions and news.
A recent example would be Trump threatens India about Russian oil trade just after OPEC increases production. So the net impact is zero on oil prices, political clout for Trump, pressure on India for trade deal but no economic loss to India.

If you are referring to the public actions of the President of the United States as ‘deep state’ you’re just mad at the state. No need to jump at shadows when there is a very real and very objectional government right there doing it in the open.

I understand being gay isn’t someone’s entire identity but I find it astounding that men like Tim Cook and Scott Bessent see no problem pocketing their gay privilege (being married, having surrogate children etc) for a quick buck. Money truly corrupts all.
Once you have a certain amount of money you’re no longer “gay” or “straight” in the sense that you don’t belong in any of these communities anymore. Tim Cook can fuck right off, he’s not welcome in any queer spaces that I run. US policies don’t affect Tim, they never will, he’s excepted himself from the entire human race at this point, along with all his billionaire peers.

IBM took over 50 years to become irrelevant after the fascists they worked with were overthrown. I suspect the “punishment” had no bearing on those choices, and certainly anyone making those decisions didn’t feel the impact of IBM losing relevance. I hope something more substantial and immediate happens to Apple and the other leaders who bent the knee.
They’re going to have to work harder than this if they want to compete with Microsofts Azure Cloud Genocide Computing Infrastructure. The only difference between IBM and Microsoft at this point is the tattoo: its now an IMEI.
