probably never. has always been a loss leader so further loss won’t matter.
they’ll just increase prices on everything else to match.
Yeah I used to spend about $400 at Costco a month, and it quickly escalated to almost $800 a month recently.

I’m aware of the story. I could imagine after the Costco CEO retires or passes away, Costco may undergo enshittification eventually.
