In practice getting the vaccine if you’re age 12 and up is fairly straightforward: make an appointment at CVS, and check the box saying you’re in a high-risk group. I was asked no further questions by CVS, though I have heard some stories of people having issues with insurance.
There is no herd immunity when only, say, 10% of the population gets the vaccine, and the virus circulating now is just enough different from the ones circulating a year ago that basically nobody has immunity to it.
This is either sarcasm or disingenuous. More than 10% have the Covid-19 vaccine and while mutations make prior doses less effective, it’s not binary or on/off in effectiveness. I’m referring to vaccines as a whole and how extremely effective they are so long as everyone has them.
85% in the region have one vaccination, which is useless after a year, and barely 15% has maintained annual vaccinations. And, no one is washing their hands after taking a shit any more.
I stand by my statement and your data points support what I’m saying about vaccines as a whole.
