One of my favourite ever films, not really for the plot, but I just love the characters so much, seeing or thinking of them, or just the tune popping into my head immediately improves my day.
Did you know there was a short film sequel? The only way to watch it officially is to go to a museum in Japan. That recording isn’t great quality, but it’s the best I’ve been able to find.
I had no idea! That’s made my week, thanks!!! Watching it on someone’s hand held cam recording adds to the charm 😜
I’ve always wanted to goto the Ghibli museum in Japan one day.
I did goto a Pixar exhibition once which had a small Ghibli side section with an amazing zoetrope the size of a small room.
I hope they release all these short films officially some day.
