If they include all the DLC, that may actually be a relatively good deal. Getting all the Sims 4 content is like $500+
Of course there are better and infinitely cheaper ways of playing those DLCs :)

Slap the word remaster on an old game and upscale a couple textures just prints money because the average consumer is pretty dumb.
This is why we’ve had nothing exciting in the AAA space for years now.
As an Simsplayer i would be delighted by a good remaster (sims 5 would also be fine tbh) I still hqvr to restart every 3 ingame hours cause every action will take 50 extra seconds. There are so many performance problems that occur over long game sessions. Plus lack of open neighbourhood is my biggest pet peeve that could be solved with a good remaster. Multiplayer support would be nice but S4MP is already so good working that i do not want ea to ruin that.

I think I saw an article here not to long ago basically saying to not have that big of expectations and that it is not a Sims replacement, at least not in it’s current form. It’s not releasing till may 2026 and has 2 years worth of updates planned so it’s definitely got a long time still before it may be completed.
