I wouldn’t point to this being an indicator a major Ukrainian offensive is about to be launched, rather it is in indicator that Ukraine is beginning to be able to have the initiative and strength to do so, which the russian soldiers at the front can see with their own eyes as the tide of the war turns.

As a note, the “rolling barrage” isn’t a new concept, it is the rather the oldest concept of combined arms warfare, this is just a new expression of it using the tools available at hand for Ukraine.
