    The average person might not know this. But a football coach definitely knows this. There’s zero chance these fucks weren’t aware of the risks.

        Rhabdomyolysis. Basically, certain injuries can cause proteins from the damaged muscle tissue to break down and leak into the bloodstream. Those proteins then cause major damage to your kidneys, which are unable to process them and can result in lifelong complications. This is something that most people doing hard physical training (such as athletes) are generally made aware of, as it’s not uncommon for eager athletes to overexert themselves and cause these sorts of injuries to themselves.

        Many of these kids are likely going to end up spending the rest of their lives in and out of hospitals because of this.
