Hello. I am about to enter the dating pool again as a financially stable, working, hetro, 53 y/o man in the DC area. I have been out of the pool for about 10 years, where do people meet people now?

So a lot of people say Hobbies which yeah I agree with.

But a lot of women also ask this question when they start dating too I know you’re a man but I’m just trying to make a point here.

You need to go where the opposite sex is this is the same thing I tell women. Where are all the men at?

Well they’re camping they’re doing bowling leagues they’re at sporting events.

I would think go somewhere maybe bring a female friend so you don’t feel like you look weird or whatever to places where a lot of women congregate

that’s where you’re trying to be you’re trying to be where all the women are at not all the couples that’s the only issue I have with Hobbies is a lot of couples do those things together

Do you have hobbies? Are there any local groups for those hobbies? That’d be one of many good options.

Thank you for the suggestion. My hobbies mostly revolve around, traveling, fine dining and cocktails. Something that is more attuned to a couple. I have to cultivate some more interests.

If you’re interested in dating apps, hinge and bumble were good ones for me (30 something male).
