I thought the Lando movie would involve old Lando (Billy Dee) after TROS, since they heavily implied at the end of TROS that he and the black girl (can’t remember her name at all) were going to look for something.

But I’m good with Glover playing another major Lando role, he absolutely nailed it in Solo.

I still got my fingers crossed for a Young Indiana Jones Chronciles/How I Met Your Mother-style framing device where it’s Billy Dee Williams and horse girl cruising the galaxy in the Falcon, with the whole flashback to young Glover Lando as some old fisherman’s tale he’s telling that’s clearly being embellished in his favor

That’s the first time I’m hearing about it. I guess this was in some visual dictionary, behind the scenes or a novel then?

Looks like I’m wrong about this. I could have sworn I read an interview where this was mentioned but nothing I can find says that was ever a plan.

Edit: read below, someone found that it may have been implied in novels and deleted scenes.

Lol, could’ve been some wild fan theory. I guess it’s just a weird scene at the end of TROS that feels like they could’ve left out.

Yeah, lots of people tried to “fix” the screenplay, and they were mostly drastically different, sometimes in a good way, and sometimes in a “Rey was a robot the whole time” way.
