People can advise you! People can give you their experience. People can be well meaning.
The only person who gets to choose what you eat, is yourself.
Don’t trust anyone blindly, don’t trust weak science. Your body is the most sophisticated laboratory equipment money can buy, you can experiment and see what works for you!

Whatever you try, write down your metrics before you start, and as you progress. If it’s not working for you, then it’s not working for you, but now you know the truth.
One big secret that everyone uses to bang their own drum: the modern western diet is absolutely terrible for your health. You can compare any diet to it and see a improvement on at least one metric.
Everyone will say their diet is the best, and they will all compare against the western diet. And they are right, it’s better then the western diet. Just because drinking alcohol is less bad then doing heroin, doesn’t make alcohol healthy, etc …
And it’s largely because of processed and fast foods. Eating healthy in the US is eating expensively. It’s far cheaper and much easier to eat heavily processed and fast food, so this is what people do.
With the income disparity what it is, it really forces lower and lower-middle income families into a corner of unhealthy diets.
Super sized convenience
And cheap. It’s really the “cheap” part that gets most of them.
I’m sure that most lower income parents would love to be able to feed their families healthy, fresh meals, and they’re perfectly aware of how crappy fast food is. It’s the triple-threat of accessibility, time, and cost, but probably the biggest factor is cost.

I did back of the napkin math for the cost of 1000 kcal on carnivore and I got something like $2.50, for bio complete nutrition. Sure $7.50 a day isn’t cheap, but it’s not out of reach either. (Assuming a family wanted to do carnivore).
One big benefit of ASF is it’s far less expensive then clean organic PBFs
100% agreed.
And jet, you know that means something coming from me.
you know that means something coming from me.
