I didn’t even consider the actual impact of the asteroid. It just feels like with all the everything happening, humanity is very tired.

But good on you for doing your research and making me seem like a big bad lady who wants to have a meteor-powered holocaust.

Those of you who had hoped for it to hit and cause mass casualties…please go fuck yourselves and leave me out of your doomer fantasies. Some of us still have a will to live.

There are ways to accomplish that that don’t drag millions of uninvolved innocent people along with you.

I’m joking. And I’m sure the others are joking as well, and don’t actually, sincerely want a cataclysmic event to kill billions of people lmao. I’ve got an amazing family and many wonderful friends in my life who I would hate to see suffer. Just a bit of self-deprecating humor 😉

That still involves me. Again, leave me out of it. I didn’t do anything to deserve that. They can take care of their issue with life themselves without involving others.

It’s quite ironic, IMO. A lot of Americans are lamenting the decline of their country but then fall into the same selfish “America is the whole world and is all that matters” mindset as the people who are causing the decline in the first place.

Indeed. The US has gone to shit. If everyone there simply left, then would find their quality of life improve ten fold. Sadly, that is not an option for most.
