theguardian.com works just fine without allowing javascript to run at all, and don’t seem to load the trackers if you deny cookies. I did get a page popup where they pleaded but didn’t force me to subscribe if I allowed the optout domain to run javascript.

Quite surprised none of my company’s sites are here. Guess it helps we aren’t national news (we’re entertainment, music and local). We have a lot of trackers. If it gets us a dollar, we’ll introduce your js.

    Worse than Sky!?

I can only guess that Comcast run their own tracking across all of their properties. That might be true of a the rest of them as well. It’s hard to tell from this who’s worse.

The only real solution is to just block all trackers and third-party cookies.
