I know there are a lot of fad diets and then there is calorie counting as a more science based approach. I myself do calorie counting and follow a strict diet in order to avoid overeating. How do you eat all day, you follow a system?

I take the hormonal model of nutrition to heart. Lecture Paper

Tldr: keep insulin low all the time… By eating keto

I listen to medical lectures on diets and nutrition for fun

It works for me, it fixes metabolic syndrome, and makes me fun at parties. Lol

Hormonal issues / hyperinsulinemia are behind lots of modern medical epidemics : high blood pressure, diabetes type 2, obesity, PCOS, etc…

The downvotes demonstrate it’s controversial… Im just answering the ops question about what my approach to the human diet is, and why I do it…

I’m not a hardcore keto person, but I strive towards that. Sugars are so unbelievably bad for us, messing up sleep, hunger and gives you arteriosclerosis among a bunch of other things.

But the sugar lobby is big, so it’s fat we shouldn’t eat, right?!
