Using the above calculator, it should take me 15 minutes to get a sunburn. I went out in the sun for a hour today, so 4x the exposure time.

I got hot, I was sweaty, but I didn’t get a sunburn. Bright beautiful day. Mostly carnivore for 8 months now. Went out at noon, peak sun time.

Neat, I don’t use sunscreen and rarely regret it, good years I spend enough time outside in late spring to get a tan then I’m fine

When I was a kid my hair was sun bleached blond thanks to a swimming pool at home and summer holidays

I’d assume it used a non-colloquial definition of sunburn. Your skin can take a certain amount of UV light exposure, after that damage starts to build up. You won’t see that damage at first and only notice once it builds up enough for your skin to become reddened.

No SPF, or sunblocks, just bare skin
