I have Verizon. When I turn on my hotspot, it comes up with a message saying checking subscription status, and then after that it will allow me to use my hotspot. Last week they apparently were doing an “update” that they didn’t let anyone know about that killed the service for the entire day. That sucks when you really plan on having your hotspot.

I’d rather not because then all the trolls will come here and it will turn into R2.0

Amd did that back in the day. All the chips were the same but locked out. You could scrape and use a pencil to draw in a jumper and make your chip the flagship one.

After our youngest turned 18 and she tried to give me shit for something that was her fault I told her the truth. I told her she was a cancer to everyone that has ever had her be a part of her life and that she’s a terrible person. It’s been a few years now and I haven’t heard a single thing from her and it’s great.

I thought about it and I’ll bank elsewhere. There will be credit unions that at least act like they give a shit about you.

What happens when Elon loses more money and decides you’re going to pay for the software updates or you’re going to get one that makes your car useless? It won’t be long before you’ll have to pay a monthly “maintenance fee” just to be able to operate it. That’s the problem with buying a car that they can do whatever they want to it whenever they want. I’ll stick with a dumb car that doesn’t tell anyone how I drive or where I go.

I love electric though and when it becomes more feasible, I’ll start swapping some old fun stuff to electric. Until then though, I’ll stick with dinosaur bones and boost.
