I get into political arguments on the internet all the time, and nobody cares. Enders Game definitely lied to me about how the world works.

Yeah, and that’s an extremely unrealistic science fiction book.
This shit is bonkers crazy, where do these people come up with this stuff? It’s lunacy to the core.
I’m just not sold on it. I can play the same games without VR, and they work just fine for me. I think most people feel the same way.
I’ve played VR before. But I don’t see it as a necessity just to play video games. It’s also incredibly disorienting after playing for a while, and it’s expensive to get the VR headsets, usually, also requiring you to already have a console, or PC to hook up to, so why wouldn’t we just play regular games then?
Bummer. I want to give them my money, but they’re not accepting new investments right now.
Hey, i work on that! Good to see it being posted here.
I kinda want to know what was actually being said here.
Nice little preview of the world we’re careening toward where billionaires get all the money, all the power, and they can even direct the speech of media outlets…
It’s already like that. It’ll just get a lot worse in the U.S. if Trump wins. There are plenty of countries where this is the norm already unfortunately.
How do they not get people don’t fucking want this. It’s like they’re in a race to see who cand develop the shittiest product.
I mean, pretty sure this is payback for the U.S. involvement in the collapse of the U.S.S.R.
Geopolitics, i was curious so I looked it up. Seems like Israel is one of the only friendly countries in the middle east, which gives us access to oil in the region.
Youtube, and basically every streaming service we don’t pay for that shows ads. But I’m in a swing states, so that’s probably why. I can’t wait until the election is over and I can stop getting nonstop political ads.
Somebody give this guy a promotion.
That’s a fair point.
They’re trying to sow doubt about the electoral process as a whole. They’ve basically decided they don’t need votes if they just say the process is fraught with fraud, and the democrats have now tried to cheat their way to victory for a second time. Unfortunately it might not matter how much Harris wins by if one side doesn’t trust the results.
As part of the agreement, all city carriers will get three annual pay increases of 1.3% each by 2025, some of which will be paid retroactively from Nov. 2023. Workers will also receive retroactive and future cost-of-living adjustments.
Oh boy, don’t spend that 7 dollars all in one place.
Nah, you’re just coming off as a giant asshole. Correcting your vs you’re on the internet is pedantic as fuck. Could have easily been an autocorrect or typo on their phone.
It’s funny though, the only countries that don’t get invaded now are the ones with nuclear weapons. 🤷♂️
I wonder if there’s an evolutionary reason for this. It might have been beneficial when we lived in smaller tightnit groups. Being a part of the group was more beneficial for safety than the alternative, so we tended to hold the views of the group regardless of whether the views are correct or not. No way to test this unfortunately, and it’s kind of an armchair hypothesis, but it kind of makes sense.
