Nah cut here to open is worse. It’s always an inch above where you actually need to cut.

Sometimes I read highly pivoted comments with info that is plain wrong and think I’m taking crazy pills.
This whole thread is very pedantic but in chemistry when someone refers to chlorine, they are usually referring to Cl2. I think in IUPAC naming chloride is reserved for for ions. Like dichloromethane (IUPAC) and methylene chloride (also common name).
It’s missing the US Mk 1. From the wiki:
In 1917, the Mk 1 grenade was created.
However, it became apparent that the Mk 1 grenade was quite difficult to use in the field. The grenades were often not ignited properly before being thrown, and enemies would return the grenade, this time properly lit.
Interesting. I guess it’s different strokes for different folks. I’m not a fan of the bump on the naked phone but I also have a Spigen case and actually appreciate the bump.
The Pixel 8 is a little big in my hands so with a secure grip, to me being fingers on one edge pressing the phone into my palm, I can’t reach the full screen. It’s also uncomfortable to hold it that way for long periods. So often I have the phone with my fingers on the back and my pointer touches the bump, keeping it from sliding, even at steep angles. I don’t find the corners harsh but maybe they have worn down somewhat so they are no longer as sharp?
Right. I mean that it doesn’t take place in the “universe” of Gran Turismo. Which is the criteria I think I would use to consider it a “video game movie”.
Does the Gran Turismo movie count as a “video game” movie? I haven’t watched it but I know the general plot and that Gran Turismo is essentially a driving sim with no storyline (most recent one I played was GT4).
I think of it like if there was a movie about an avid Flight Simulator player has to land a passenger jet after both pilots are incapacitated, I wouldn’t consider it a video game movie. Maybe that’s how they remake Airplane! though.
Most palms do not have thorns. This is the first time I have ever heard this claim. There is 2,600 known species.
But yes they are not shade trees.
Is this event about depth or length of time?
Mitch always wears his caps backwards.
I’m usually sat together with my wife but a couple of times we have been separated by a row or two. We have always been able to switch seats with someone so it’s not a huge deal for us but it’s annoying. Especially when we buy are tickets at the time as one purchase and one of us gets sat next to someone flying alone or another person separated from their party… Those cases its obvious the airline separated you for no reason other than to punish you for not paying the fee.
This only became a problem because airlines started charging extra to pick your seats. That practice is what should be made illegal. Splitting up a group because they didn’t want to pay your extortion fee is BS.
It’s whatever app you’re using that’s the problem. It looks fine on a browser.
How do appeals work in the UK?
In April, Alfa Romeo, which is another Italian brand under Stellantis, decided to rename its new, Poland-made Milano model as Junior following pressure from authorities.
This seems like they are going too far. Plenty of cars are named after places and it has never once occurred to me that they were literally made there.
I think that’s true for Stone Henge, the Mona Lisa, gluing themselves to roads, etc.
I think targeting high profile extremely wealthy people is different and will be much more effective. I guess time will tell.
I don’t think the general public cares about Taylor Swift needing to get her jet re-painted. Only Swifties will care.
No don’t worry. You’re the normal one.
I don’t think the wider population would accept the compromises necessary for a million miles vehicle. There is always a balance between component longevity, cost, performance, features, and safety.
They can exist but I don’t forsee wide adoption due to it being wildly expensive and/or bare bones in terms of contemporary features.
He had a knife, had stated he was going to kill them, and was allegedly charging at them. Apparently they also used tasers on him but they were ineffective. But otherwise yes, safety is one factor.
