I think it’s simpler.
They all boil down to: “See? SEE?!”
As my best friend’s mom always likes to say
“It is hardest to wake those who pretend to sleep.”
The resolution of the Fermi Paradox is simple, but hard to swallow: we choose to ignore them because they terrify us deeper than we want to admit we can be terrified.
