This gun looks super weird. It’s not compact how you’d want a pistol to be, and the receiver area looks more like a rifle or something? Is this like a tournament gun for shooting targets, not for normal gun stuff?
It is a rifle, an AR7 receiver. The AR7 is a “survival” rifle that was issued to pilots back in the day. Basically a lightweight collapsible .22
This is built on that, but the OG has a wooden butt stock (that might really be plastic idk)
Was that the base for Han’s blaster prop?
No, that one was based on a Mauser C96
But this one would definitely fit in pretty well as a Star Wars blaster too

It’s the magazine release, I think. I’ve never held one of these, but I can’t think of anything else it could be and I don’t see a magazine release anywhere else
