I’m sure I’m gonna be down voted a lot, but I’ve gotta say it. Cannolis are just not very good. Like not disgusting but they lack flavor.

Maybe you just don’t like ricotta very much? There’s also ricotta pie, which is essentially just a cannoli in a different form (ie a crust filled with ricotta), though the filling is stiffer.

Cannoli are Sicilian pastries consisting of a tube-shaped shell of fried pastry dough, filled with a sweet and creamy filling containing ricotta cheese.
The filling varies, sometimes it’s just a thick frosting, sometimes its a chocolate pudding like thing, and somewhere in NY it’s more cannolis.
