It’s all fun and games until a single rocket hits you.
Sometimes it’s your own rocket too.
Do not try to place map markers while in the mech.
I finally could afford it last night, second rocket I fired, blew myself up
Pro tip: be careful not to turn too fast while firing rockets. The devs said there’s a known bug where your rocket collides with your mech if you’re rotating a certain direction.
That direction is right. The rockets pods are on the left of the cockpit, so if you are aiming right, and the body hasn’t fully turned to match your aiming circle, the rocket will fire from the left, go directly to the right, and explode on hitting the cockpit.
The issue here is they seem to have programmed the missiles to fire in the direction of where you are aiming your cursor, instead of firing in the directing the missile pods are current facing.
This is fine with held weapons, as it is snappier and more accurate and feels better. But when. There is an intentional turret rotation delay, as in the mech, it means when the rockets shoot out of the pod heading in the direction of the cursor instead of going straight, they can go 90° directly into your cockpiy.
So… Be careful when turning right. And pay attention to where that missle pod is facing when shooting.
slaps mech… instantly explodes because they are made of paper
Flip a coin to see if it gets dropped from the transport as a ball of fire before even touching the ground.
Wait your game has starship troopers and mechs?
Oh boy, are you in for a good time.
I have saluted the flag, and been repeatedly murdered by the bots.
My game did not download while I was working, so now I will be in for a good time in a couple hours.
Is it normal that I can’t play with other people? Whenever I join a game it instantly disconnects
Edit: I think this was a router issue on my end
I guess this isn’t on gforce now so I’ll try it on ps5 tonight
Time to spread some MANAGED DEMOCRACY soldier!
I was there when the TCS towers on Erata Prime were finally activated, and I fought on Meridia before that.
I took a quick relaxing vacation to rescue a hard drive on Hellmire, I got a photo with a fire tornado and I squashed some bug nests along the way.
It was fun standing on top of the exosuit until the pilot fired a rocket and made contact with my foot.
