Can I apply that logic to other hot button issues related to children making decisions about sexuality and their bodies, or would that get me banned?

Are the issues of children making decisions in the room with you?

Are you planning to find a ragebait website with a history of misinformation and clear bias about one incident that you’ve now use as a blanket statement of your entire worldview?

Are you comparing trans kids receiving gender affirming care to being able to have sex with adults? Because it certainly sounds like that’s what you are insinuating here. If so that is an incredibly transphobic bad faith comparison.

What do you guys think? Personally the language used here lines up pretty well with the dogwhistles most TERFs use to attack gender affirming care like puberty blockers but I’d love to hear what you have to think.

            From you

            wild hypocrites

            From wiki

Tu quoque (/tjuːˈkwoʊkwiː/;[1] Latin for ‘you also’) is a discussion technique that intends to discredit the opponent’s argument by attacking the opponent’s own personal behavior and actions as being inconsistent with their argument, so that the opponent appears hypocritical.

You’re doing exactly that. Nobody is talking about whatever else you’re thinking about and it’s irrelevant.

I’m talking about what ogmios was alluding to without ever coming out and saying. It’s a pretty common tactic with transphobes to equate supporting trans kids with letting children make adult decisions. Their “logic” is “if a fourteen year old can’t decide to fuck an adult they can’t possibly be responsible for knowing their gender doesn’t match what they were assigned at birth.”

Ah I see it now, the implication they made is disgusting and transphobic, and also is incredibly off-topic since these weren’t issues that were being brought up here, as in their comment was transphobic and off-topic.
