Ingredients (divide these ingredients in half for a smaller batch):
1lb chicken liver
45 grams butter
4 tbsp fish sauce
6 garlic cloves
2-3 shallots
3 tbsp neutral oil
1/2 cup water (add as much or little until you get the desired consistency)

I’ve done pate one time and it’s not worth it. So I buy it once in a while as a treat.
100% agreed, its a pain in the butt to make, better to do in large batches… but then you end up giving everyone you know extra bottles.
