Kinda encompasses how I feel when I drop in on a sub Lvl 10 Cadet to help with clearing mission objectives.
The best feeling is to call in strategems for the they haven’t unlocked yet. They don’t always want to take yours but often it’s a lot of fun because they won’t unlock it for a while yet.
I did something like that with a younger rookie diver at one point with the jump pack and feel like I made his day.
He was blown away by the Senator trick spin.
All the time! Super fun to drop in on new players and bring them an arsenal of toys to try out.
Closest I ever felt to the Master Chief to real players is when I drop in and help a squad of 3 rookies just annihilate mission objectives.
Every now and then I do, but way more often than I’d like they just call eagles and orbarrages on your head without prejudice.
The last time I did that, it was on a flag mission with no reinforcements nor time left, I went for a desperate attempt to survive long enough for the flag to rise.
It was working too, thanks to a supply pod and hulk bodies acting as cover, but then someone called a 380 without me noticing and died; the same thing also happened twice before we ran out of reinforcements.The only time I’ve ever really been really frustrated with it is on a defensive mission where we are holding position and some cadet literally blankets the map with a centrally dropped 380MM - which then proceeds to wipe every sentry, every defensive environment barrier, and team kills the whole squad for a solid 20s… no matter where you land.
haha definitely not me in eradicate missions, that would be crazy
And when you drop into a level 150 solo farmer you become a farmer :)
