That’s what always got me. He was so young when he gained traction. 31 is still pretty young, that fucker was 10 years younger than me. And these cockroaches were like: listen to this 20 something guy, he has it figured out. I’m not saying that age equals intellect or anything, but i imagine the dumb shit i thought about when i was in my 20es and i’m just glad no one gave me a microphone and a platform.

But at least i was never a fascist piece of shit.

I think calling trumpists just right wing is an insult to sane right leaning people around the world.

          There’s far-left, left, centre-left, centre, centre-right, right, and far-right.

Far- is that which employs violence and suppresses all other opinions given the chance.

Centre is that which is always open for compromise.

The others are not always open for compromise, but discuss with each other in polite atmosphere.

By definition, the far-right necessitates excluding anything less insane than itself.

That said though, in my view the real spectrum is whether someone supports the workers. Be they American, Russian, Chinese, Vietnamese, Senegalese, Swiss, or whatever else.

Far- is that which employs violence and suppresses all other opinions given the chance.

the “supresses all other opinions given the chance” carries a lot of the weight here, considering that like every statist and really almost everyone agrees with or accepts the employment of violence. really only the minority which is pacifists opposes it, and even pacifists often only oppose violence against humans.

the suppression of all other opinions is then mostly just the destinction between soft and hard power, because ultimately, all who are in power either fight to remain there, or at the very least prevent those who dont share their interests from getting there. the question merely is whether they do this through violence or manipulation, and whether they do it to defend their own freedom or to maintain their domination over others.

i’m sorry if my comment appears antagonistic. my antagonism is (most likely) not directed at you.

i see the distinction between far-x and center as one which is mostly employed to moralize the degree to which people support the status quo, making it in many cases another weapon against dissent, in the arsenal of manipulation tactics. stuff makes me go on frantic rants :3

Eh, terrorist is a bit of a stretch, that word has a certain definition, definitely a fucking fascist though.

The only good fascist is a fascist that has seen the errors of their ways and has changed and grown as a person and made amends… But a dead fascist is an acceptable alternative.

Standing before the college students while trying to convince them that gun violence is not such a bad thing, a thought crossed Charlie Kirk’s mind… No, wait, a bullet, a bullet crossed his mind.

We’ll never know if he considered himself an acceptable loss for the freedom to own guns. It is definitely nice to see karma bite someone like him in the ass.

I wish it hadn’t come to this point. Like, I daydream about all these shitty nazis going down swiftly in one way or another. So I might get to live my life in peace in the near future, instead of having to wait til I’m old for fascism to recede again (if I even survive, being a trans woman). But something actually happening has tons of complications attached. I don’t want fucko’s death to lead to some crackdown, or more right-wingers committing shootings (when they already have the near monopoly on shootings, and for all we know Kirk’s killer might’ve been one too) or galvanizing of MAGA shit. And by galvanizing, I mean people who were like “This isn’t what I voted for!” and suffering, suddenly popping back into full cult mode.

But of course, at the same time, I know it doesn’t matter. Regardless of what happened, they’d find an excuse to do a crackdown, or have trump mumble some shit to rile up the cult. Or they’d just do some more fashy shit with no prior justification anyway if they never got an inciting incident to fill the excuse role.

I guess I just want all this to resolve with minimal deaths, for the regime to topple and the members and the media/influencers who helped get us here to be tried and convicted, and other ones like the supreme court getting impeached so there’s tons of precedent being set to avoid this happening again in 80-100 more years. But it definitely won’t stay minimal or involve court rulings if we start getting more and more shootings of specific targets and if we start seeing retaliation following said assassinations.

Though when right-wingers assassinated those Minnesota democrats some months back, or when Pelosi’s husband got beaten nearly to death in his own home, Kirk and Trump, and other figureheads, as well as a flood of nobody right-wingers on social media who are all now up in arms and angry about Kirk’s death, just got smug and cheered and jeered about it. So, thoughts and prayers for dickhead and the family he leaves behind, and I guess we just wait and see what comes next in this little circus of bullshit.

Huh. I thought he won the gun debate. Too bad it took one more gun death to prove how serious he was about it. Maybe we could get send a gun with one bullet to everyone in that crowd and ask them to prove that they are as serious as Charlie Kirk.

“Under no pretext should arms and ammunition be surrendered; any attempt to disarm the workers must be frustrated, by force if necessary,”

Marx said in his “Address of the Central Committee to the Communist League.”

It can’t be all of the left making those jokes.
